Smore Brownies
A FUN way to get that smores taste any time of year!

Smore Brownies are EASY, FUN, and DELICIOUS! Ooey, gooey, messy, ~the PERFECT way to enjoy campfire goodness whenever and wherever you want. Raining out? NO problem~ Just heat up that oven and you're ready to go! It's a piece of cake~ or, shall we say~ brownie?

Step 1- All you need is a brownie base. You can keep it as simple as a cheap brownie mix (sometimes the cheapest is the yummiest!) or go all out with a gourmet homemade brownie recipe. Mix ingredients and bake as instructed.

Step 2- Now you have some options~ Either cool the brownies completely, or place your toppings on when hot. If your brownies are still warm, the toppings will naturally melt, resulting in a nice gooey treat. If you want gooeyness but still desire solid chocolate chunks, go ahead and put your toppings on when the brownies are hot, but save some chunks to add after everything has completely cooled.

Step 3- Pick your toppings. You can use a marshmallow creme to spread on top of the brownies (shown in the top picture), or just use mini-marshmallows sprinkled around (shown in the bottom picture). We've used both with yummy results. Add broken graham crackers, or get a little more creative~ Honey Teddy Grahams work great for children. All that is required for smores brownies is a graham cracker of some form. Now~ time for chocolate. Take your pick~ you can use dark, milk, or white varieties. (It's all chocolate- how can you go wrong?!) Use broken chocolate bars or chocolate chips of any variety. If you want your chocolate melted, place on top of the brownies while the brownies are still warm, or place the whole brownie mixture in the oven for a few minutes to melt. If you used marshmallows, they will brown slightly if you put the tray back into the oven.

Step 4- ENJOY your smore brownies and SHARE! You can be sure to brighten anyone's day!
